In the darkness I am all alone,
Nothing around me to keep me safe,
Not knowing if I’m going to see tomorrow,
Sad and dreary,
They say I have nothing to worry about,
In my eyes,
I have everything to worry about,
In the darkness I am scared,
You say good-night expecting to see me in the morning,
But what if I never woke up?
You never know what’s going to happen when your all alone in the dark,
You never know what will happen,
In my eyes,
Life should be lived to the fullest,
I don’t want to live in the darkness,
Because in my eyes,
You don’t have very long.
