Jason Ballard, loving and devoted father, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2009. Jason is survived by his daughters, Orion and Skylar, former wife Heather Martinek, parents Richard and Candice Ballard, and sisters Heather A. Ballard and Sasha Gotham. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Jason Ballard Memorial Fund for Orion and Skylar Ballard. Details are available through The Colby School at (435) 655-3966.

Kimball Junction traffic redesign gets state funding, helped by developers’ political clout
A major infrastructure bill that passed in the final days of the Legislature’s general session includes funding for a Kimball Junction traffic project. Officials said developers helped get the project included.
