Legislators to appear at town meeting

PR

Two of Summit County’s lawmakers plan to hold a town meeting in Park City on Thursday.

Rep. David Ure, a Republican from Kamas, and Sen. Beverly Evans, a Republican from Altamont, will meet with Parkites in the Santy Auditorium in the Park City Library and Education Center at 7 p.m.

The 2006 session of the Utah State Legislature recently started and runs through March 1.

For more information, call Gary Hill, the City Hall staffer who monitors the Legislature for the local government, at 615-5182.

Issues that may be discussed include taxes, transportation, education and land-use planning, the city government said.
