Memorial Day commemorated

Parkites will gather on Monday to mark Memorial Day, the holiday when Americans commemorate the nation’s fallen soldiers.

The Park City Interfaith Council has organized a ceremony at the Park City Cemetery on Kearns Boulevard at 10 a.m.

The organizers plan to raise the American flag and recite prayers. It will likely resemble past Memorial Day ceremonies in Park City, which have drawn veterans and regular Parkites.

For more information, call Bob Kaylor, the pastor at the Park City Community Church. His number is 649-8131.
