Miners throttle Murray Spartans, advance to 5-0 on the season

The Park City Miners throttled the winless Murray Spartans earlier tonight to advance to 5-0 on the season. The Miners were guided to the win behind a high-octane first-half performance, which saw them take a 58-7 lead into halftime. They now have a week to rest before the Stansbury Stallions come to town. The Stallions were 2-2 heading into their 7 p.m. contest earlier tonight against the Jordan Beetdiggers.
Prescribed burning begins Friday in Parleys, Lambs canyons
As part of the Central Wasatch Watershed Restoration project, treatment of fuels in Parleys and Lambs canyons will continue with pile burning beginning Friday to improve forest and watershed health.
