Montage sales top $88M
Montage Residences Deer Valley has reported more than $88 million in sales in the past 23 months, with 23 residences sold and continued momentum heading into the winter season. This summer and fall, Montage Residences Deer Valley closed six residences, totaling close to $20 million in transactions, with more sales in the process of officially closing.
"With the luxury property market, people are starting to realize that the market is recovering," said Ed Rehill, Director of Sales for Montage Residences Deer Valley. "People are tired of keeping their money on sidelines they want to know there were no missed opportunities."
A total of 81 private residences are a part of the Montage Deer Valley, and the sales that are taking place show an increased interest this summer in buying high-end properties, Rehill said. Within the past 18 months, Montage Residences Deer Valley sold $67 million, setting a record for summer month sales.
"We saw a huge spike in summer sales, which is unusual" Rehill added. "People are noticing this destination has four seasons. There were hot leads in the winter, and we closed those sales in the summer."

Montage Residences Deer Valley has select homes available for purchase, ranging in size from 1,850 to 5,380 square feet and priced from the high $2.5 million up to $8.25 million, which includes fully furnished and unfurnished options. The mountain lodge designs found in all residences are given estate-quality finishes, gourmet kitchens, multiple gas fireplaces, five-fixture stone bathrooms, rustic cherry millwork and hand scraped walnut plank flooring. Additionally, some floor plans include a guestroom lock-off with a private entrance, making it easy to share the ski-in/ski-out condominium.
"The sales activity is validation that Park City is four-season destination," Rehill said. "This interest in our property speaks to the quality of the Montage Deer Valley, but also the accessibility of the resort."
Montage Deer Valley offers residents a selection of four distinctive dining venues, including a gourmet gastropub with a four-lane regulation bowling alley; Spa Montage, with 29 treatment rooms and mosaic indoor pool, is Utah’s largest and most impressive retreat at 35,000 square feet; and Compass Sports, the resort’s high-tech recreation center featuring an assembly of iPad-equipped ski valets who make getting on the slopes a snap with three adjacent chairlifts just steps from their door.
