Musicians needed for EarthWell
The EarthWell organization is looking to showcase young, talented musicians at the 2012 EarthWell Festival Aug. 25 and 26, lakeside at Jordanelle State Park. Accomplished artist and songwriter, Rich Wyman, will produce the first annual Sound-Off Competition.
The Sound-Off Competition will begin on Saturday, Aug. 25, with 10 young artists. All musicians must be 18 years old or younger at the time of festival.
They will have a chance to perform in front of festival guests and a panel of judges including acclaimed producers, media correspondents and musicians.
The competition will be whittled down to the top three artists who will perform again on Sunday at the festival.
Artists may choose to perform as soloists, duets or in trios. The winner of the Sound-Off Competition will be rewarded with cash, prizes and the title of Sound-Off Champion.
EarthWell is an organization designed to promote and support businesses, people and non-profits that are actively involved in green, sustainability, or health and wellness practices, products and services.
