Summit County school districts bring 17 new teachers on board

South Summit schools started class Tuesday. Schools in Park City and North Summit districts plan to start tomorrow. When school starts, students aren’t always the only ones approaching a new environment. This year all three Summit County school districts welcomed a total of 17 teachers to their faculties.

North Summit School District:

  • Susan Richins English at North Summit High School
  • Terry Black 5th grade at North Summit Middle School
  • Nancy Duffin 3rd grade at North Summit Elementary

Along with the changes in teaching faculty, the middle school will welcome Brett Richins as the new principal.

    South Summit School District:

  • Stephanie Clegg Art at South Summit High School
  • Jeff Griener Career and Technical Education Director / Business at South Summit High School

South Summit administrators also plan to fill the opening of middle school counselor Teralyn Wallace, who resigned last week to accept a job in Ogden.
