Obituary

Alexis Christina Datzman

Alexis Christina Datzman, age seven, of Park City, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2006, in Park City from complications and a long, four-year battle with leukemia.

Lexie was born July 25, 1998, in Ogden, to Basil and Susy Datzman. Lexie had many disabilities, but always remained happy. She loved eating cheeseburgers, watching "Elmo," "Shrek" and "Toy Story" and riding the bus and going to school with the children who were so kind to her.

Survivors include her parents, Basil and Susy Datzman; sisters, Sydney and Katie of Park City; and grandparents, Norman and Gloria Patterson, Price, Utah. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Basil and Wanda Datzman, Fowler, Ind.

The Datzman family would like to thank the doctors and staff of Primary Children’s Medical Center, who were Lexie’s second family, and also the Make-A-Wish Foundation for their kindness and generosity.

Funeral services for Lexie will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2006 at 11 a.m. at the Kimball Ward, 2555 West Kilby Rd., Park City. Friends may call on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, Salt Lake City, and at the Kimball Ward on Saturday morning from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services.
