Obituary |

Born May 25, 1944 in Chatham, Cape Cod, Mass., Chickie (Charles Joseph McAllister) passed away quietly May 7, 2006 of complications due to lung disease.

The focus of Chick’s life was his wife Maria, their sons, Peter (PK) and Sean, his daughters, Cali and Caty, his mother Helen and brother Mike.

Arriving in Park City in 1977 from the Louisiana oil fields, Chick’s career ranged from general construction projects to hydraulic engineer and working as a Class C oil-drilling engineer. Chick could fix anything!

Chick was known for his bright, flirtatious "lines" and his world-famous hugs.

Chick will be missed by all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held at the Rose Sachs Garden on Tuesday, May 16 at 6 p.m. Directions to Rose Sachs Gardens may be found at In lieu of flowers, contributions will be accepted at Wells Fargo Bank for the McAllister Family Fund.
