Obituary — Catherine Anne Loiselle
Catherine Anne Loiselle, a Park City, Utah resident since 1990, died December 28, 2008 at the University of Utah Medical Center.
Born in Sunnyside, Wash. in 1953, as a young child she moved with her family to Cheney, Wash., where she attended and graduated from the Cheney Public School program. She continued her education at Eastern Washington University where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Fashion Merchandising.
Catherine was very active in dance through her early years but chose floral design and fashion merchandising as her professional career. Later, she became involved in hotel management in Park City. She served as the assistant general manager at the Chateaux at Silver Lake for the past 8 years.
Catherine was an extremely committed volunteer for the American Cancer Society; actively promoting cancer awareness, patient support, early detection and clinical research. Catherine was a victim of lung cancer.
Catherine is survived by her loving daughter, Sara C Lotzenhiser, and her husband, Terry Loiselle.
There will be a ‘Celebration of Life’ in honor of Catherine on the Jan. 29 at the Chateaux at Silver Lake in Deer Valley from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
