Obituary – Donald Frank Prescott

Don Prescott passed away July 25, 2008 of emphysema.

Born in Boulder City, Nevada to Frank and Louise Prescott on August 7, 1935 he is survived by his sister Bernice Anderson (Lynn), daughter, Gayle Prescott and grandchildren, Ryan, Prescott (PJ his namesake) and Hannah Jane, son, Geary Prescott and Bethany. Preceded in death by wife RaeAnn, parents, 5 Dougdale cousins, close friends, Devon Jenkins and Norm Hall (can’t seem to delete that part so Pop, you win again!).

Don was a loving father and had a wonderful sense of humor. He lived in Park City for many years and always considered it home. His skill at carpentry is apparent in many homes and businesses throughout Summit County. He would do anything for a friend! He loved fishing, hunting, horses and skiing. There wasn’t a horse he couldn’t ride! Pop was my champion. I will miss his laughter and the many hours of conversations! Near or far he was always with me, as it will always be.

Dedication of his grave will be held on his birthday, August 7, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Francis Cemetery, Francis, Utah. Followed by a celebration of his life and birthday at The No Name Saloon at 4 p.m., 447 Main Street, Park City.
