Obituary — Evelyn Sessions Price

1919-2008

Our beloved mom, grandma, and sister passed away December 31, 2008. Evelyn was born February 2, 1919 to Adolph and Chloe Session. She Married Glen Taylor Price of Heber, October 26, 1935, who passed away February 2, 1970.

Evelyn worked as a cook for the Park City School District and Park City Senior Citizens. She enjoyed the Utah Jazz, camping, and fishing with her family. She was a member of the LDS church.

Evelyn is survived by her son Glen "Arvil" (Barbara) Price, of Park City; four grandchildren, Debbie (Doug) Yates, Sandra Stringer, Glenna Jenkins, and Evelyn (Larry) Simpson; Sisters Maxine (Gail) Kummer of Salt Lake City, and Barbara Jolley of Heber; brother, Boyd (Karen) Sessions of Salt Lake; ten great grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, siblings, and one great-grandson.

The family would like to thank the fourth floor staff of the MICU at the University of Utah Hospital who helped during the time of her stay.

Funeral Services will be held 12 p.m. Saturday, January 3, 2009 at the Park City LDS ward building, 2300 Monitor Drive, Park City. A viewing will be held Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Olpin-Hoopes funeral home, 288 N. Mains Street, Heber City, and also 10:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday, prior to the Services.
