Park City election: poll locations, hours, ID requirements

What: the Park City election

Who wants to be mayor:

  • Andy Beerman
  • Jack Thomas

Beerman is a lodging industry figure and a member of the Park City Council. Thomas is a Park City Planning Commissioner and an architect.

Who wants to be a Park City Councilor:

  • Alex Butwinski
  • Cindy Matsumoto
  • Tim Henney
  • Mary Wintzer

Butwinski is an incumbent City Councilor. He is retired but continues to manage investment properties. Matsumoto is an incumbent City Councilor and the co-owner of a home furnishings store. Henney works in real estate investment and management. Wintzer owns a commercial leasing firm.

When: polls are open on Tuesday from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m.

Where: people who live in Old Town and Deer Valley vote in the City Council chambers at the Marsac Building. People who live in the rest of Park City vote in the lobby of the Eccles Center.

What to bring: government issued photo identification, such as a driver license, a military identification, a passport or a concealed weapon permit. If someone does not have the photo identification, they must provide two other forms listed as being acceptable. One of those forms must show the person’s address.
