Park City Film Series schedules additional ‘Meru’ screenings
The Park City Film Series has scheduled additional screenings of Jimmy Chin and Elizabeth Chai’s documentary "Meru" this weekend.
The full schedule is as follows:
"Meru" is rated R, and will be screened at the Jim Santy Auditorium of the Park City Library, 1255 Park Ave.
In the high-stakes pursuit of big-wall climbing, the Shark’s Fin on Mount Meru in the Himalayas may be the ultimate prize. Sitting 21,000 feet above the sacred Ganges River in Northern India, the mountain’s obstacles make it both a breathtaking challenge and an irresistible calling for some of the world’s toughest and most experienced climbers. This extraordinary journey makes for an intense and beautifully photographed film.
Tickets cost $8 for general admission and $7 for students and senior citizens. The screening is underwritten by Park City SUP, Wagging Tails on the Trails and 1Body.
