To professionally interpret Park City and regional Western history through engaging exhibitions and lively educational events; to actively research and record the history of Park City and its environs; and to promote and advocate the preservation of Park City s important history and historic sites.

Wish List

  • The museum is expanding and we need money to build an addition to our building, develop and install new exhibits, develop educational programs for the schools, as well as adult programs.

How to Help

  • We currently need Spanish speakers to help with programs for Hispanic students
  • Volunteer to help catalogue historic artifacts in the collection
  • Volunteer to work on our education program developing new curriculums and assisting with kids activities
  • Volunteer to work on Sundays to keep the museum open.

Park City police blotter: Furniture left in a Dumpster

The Park City Police Department last week received at least two reports involving cases of different natures at construction locations. In one of the cases, the police were told 1,000 construction workers had left vehicles on the street.
