Balloting in Park City, Coalville begins Tuesday

Voting in the two primary elections scheduled in Summit County starts on Tuesday.

The early voting period in the Park City Council and Coalville mayoral primaries will remain open until Aug. 9.

The hours in Park City until the last day are weekdays between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. People may vote on Aug. 9 between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. The early voting polling station is located in the east conference room on the third floor at the Marsac Building.

Six people are vying for the City Council. The primary election will reduce the field to four on Election Day.

Early voting is available in Coalville at City Hall, 10 North Main St. People may cast ballots between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. on weekdays. The primary voters in Coalville will reduce the mayoral field from six candidates to two for Election Day.

Voters must have government-issued photo identification.
