The Park City Fire District responded on Monday afternoon to a report of smoke coming from the heating and air conditioning vents of a building on the 1800 block of Sidewinder Drive.

The Fire District said the smoke came from a burned-out motor or a belt inside a furnace in the basement. A fire was not found.

Sean Briley, a firefighter who responded, said firefighters turned off power to the furnace.

Three fire engines and two ambulances responded. Approximately six people left the building while the firefighters were investigating.

The Park City Police Department closed a section of Sidewinder Drive to traffic for a short time during the emergency response.
