Hit-and-runs busy police in Park City

The Park City Police Department last week received several complaints about hit-and-run accidents.

None of the cases appeared to be serious, according to public police logs. The reports were logged in several Park City neighborhoods or commercial districts.

Some of the reports included:

  • on Sunday, Aug. 30 at 10:03 a.m., someone reported a vehicle had been struck the night before while it was on Prospector Avenue.
  • on Aug. 30 at 8:19 a.m., the police were told of a hit-and-run accident somewhere along Kearns Boulevard. The victim’s vehicle was damaged sometime the night before, the police were told.
  • on Friday, Aug. 28 at 6:06 p.m., an accident was reported on Kearns Boulevard. An old, brown pickup truck was one of the vehicles involved, the police were told.
  • on Aug. 28 at 9:17 a.m., a hit-and-run accident was reported somewhere along Sidewinder Drive.
