On Thursday, Jan. 8 at 11:25 p.m., the police received a report that a suspicious package was left in a taxi along Main Street. The police said the cooler was filled with core cement samples.
A construction firm did not secure them, the police said.

On Sunday, Jan. 11 at 1:24 a.m., a theft was logged along Main Street. Public police logs did not provide details about the items reported to be taken.
A "very loud" party was reported to the police at 9:41 a.m. on Iron Canyon Drive. The party was the night before, the police were told.
At least one window was found smashed at a store along Main Street at 8:53 a.m. Police logs indicated it did not appear to be associated with a burglary. The Police Department logged the case as suspected criminal mischief.

At 2:53 a.m., two women, suspected to be intoxicated, were seen at the Main Street-Heber Avenue intersection walking home toward Prospector. An officer informed them how long the walk would take them. They requested a cab, the police said.
An unspecified disorderly conduct case was reported on Main Street at 1:49 a.m.
A suspected drunken driving case was reported at 1:44 a.m. on Swede Alley. Public police logs did not provide details.
The police reported three cases along Main Street in a quick succession — a disorderly conduct report at 1:26 a.m. and two suspected intoxication cases at 1:22 a.m. and 1:04 a.m. Public police logs did not provide details.
Two men were reported to be fighting along Main Street, apparently inside a business. They were ordered out of the business and continued to fight on the street, the police said. The case was logged at 12:52 a.m.
On Saturday, Jan. 10 at 9:48 p.m., four people were reported to be fighting somewhere along Kearns Boulevard. The Police Department classified the case as disorderly conduct.
At 6:37 p.m., the police received a report that a deer ran into the rear section of a van on Marsac Avenue. The van was not damaged, but the driver was concerned that the deer could be hurt and might be in the road, the police said.
Two cars were reported to be vandalized in a parking lot on Gillmor Way. The police received the complaint at 1:53 p.m.
Water was reported to be pooling in the vicinity of Deer Valley Drive and Sunnyside Drive at 8:39 a.m. It was a leak that needed to be repaired, the police said.
Two suspected drunken driving cases were logged in Park City in a short period of time. One, reported at 1:45 a.m., was along Park Avenue while the other, reported at 1:35 a.m., was along Kearns Boulevard.
At 12:12 a.m., two people were seen sledding down a ski run off Deer Valley Drive. The police classified the case as suspected trespassing.
On Thursday, Jan. 8, an unspecified alcohol offense was reported in the vicinity of Hillside Avenue and Daly Avenue at 10:59 p.m.
At 4:30 p.m., a wallet was reportedly found in a gutter along Marsac Avenue. The wallet was returned to the owner.
Tools were seen in the middles of the road at the Old Town roundabout at 3:23 p.m. The police said the tools presented a traffic hazard.
At 2:05 a.m., several garbage cans were seen in the middle of the street along Park Avenue, presenting a traffic hazard. The police removed the trash cans and warned two people apparently seen moving the cans.
On Wednesday, Jan. 7 at 9:54 p.m., the police received a report that a neon ‘Open’ sign was stolen from a business along Main Street the night before. Surveillance footage shows someone taking the sign, the police were told.
A hit-and-run traffic accident was reported in a parking lot somewhere along Park Avenue at 7:41 p.m. The damage occurred the night before, the police said.
The police were called to City Park at 5:44 p.m., when someone reported a fight involving dogs. The police said there was not a fight, but a dog suffered a seizure.

A snowboard was found in the road in the vicinity of Park Avenue and Snow Creek Drive at 11:18 a.m.
At 9:19 a.m., a hot-air balloon was reported to be attempting to land along Meadows Drive. It flew toward Old Ranch Road, the police were told.
At 1:34 a.m., a wallet was turned over to the police at the Park Avenue police station. It was not clear from public police logs where the wallet was found.
On Tuesday, Jan. 6 at 6:53 p.m., a hit-and-run traffic accident was reported on the 2200 block of Deer Valley Drive. The damage occurred a few days prior to the report.
At 2:06 p.m., skis were reported to be stolen on the 2200 block of Deer Valley Drive. The police were told the equipment is valued at $1,650. The skis had been checked, but someone else found the stub from the ski check and took the skis, the police were told.
On Monday, Jan. 5 at 2:02 a.m., the police issued a ticket after finding a trailer was parked in a manner that it obstructed snow removal crews along American Saddler Drive.
