‘What’s Next,’ for Park City, City Hall asks
June 12, 2015
Park City officials on Monday are scheduled to lead a discussion about growth and related issues as City Hall continues a broad exercise centered on concerns about the city’s future.
Organizers call the Monday event ‘What’s Next,’ and promotional material indicates the gathering will focus on "forces shaping our city’s future." Mayor Jack Thomas and Park City Councilor Tim Henney are scheduled to speak on behalf of City Hall. Robert Grow, the president and CEO of Envision Utah, is also listed as a speaker. City Hall hired Envision Utah to assist with the growth discussions.
The event is scheduled to start at 5:45 p.m. and last until 8 p.m. in the Santy Auditorium at the Park City Library and Education Center. The three presenters are scheduled to speak for 75 minutes followed by an opportunity for people to provide written comments.
The event on Monday will be followed by two additional gatherings later in June. The first is set for June 23 between 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. while the second will run from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on June 27. The two additional events are advertised as community conversations with the mayor and City Councilors.
