PCHS boys lacrosse knocked out in finals

Park City will have to wait at least one more year for its first state lacrosse championship. The Park City High School boys’ lacrosse team lost to Brighton 10-7 in the Division I state championship Saturday night at Viewmont High School Stadium. The Miners trailed 5-4 at halftime, getting three goals and an assist from senior Matt Mersereau. But the unbeaten Bengals were too much to handle on attack, taking an 8-5 lead by the end of the third and playing strong defense to hold the Miners off.
