PCST Hall of Fame to induct two

Team to honor Bob Marsh, Roxanne Toly

Two key figures from the early years of the Park City Ski Team (PCST) will be named to the team’s Hall of Fame at a dinner at the Park City Mountain Resort Legacy Lodge on April 6 beginning at 6:30 p.m.

According to Jesse Hunt, the team’s executive director, the Hall of Fame was created to honor people for outstanding contributions in terms of (1) athletic achievements, (2) leadership or (3) support from behind the scenes.

"We wanted to honor those people who have gone on to greatness or who have made a great contribution to the organization," Hunt said.

To be honored this year are:

  • Bob Marsh, who served as the team’s director for about 15 years from the late 1970s until the early 1990s. Marsh was also the founder of the Park City Ski Education Foundation.
  • Roxanne Toly, a Park City native who became one of the first PCST alumni to move on to the U.S. Ski Team. More recently, Toly has made a name as one of the area’s top cross-country skiers.
