People might be using terrain close to April Mountain as hunting grounds
The Park City Police Department on Sunday received two complaints that the terrain close to the April Mountain neighborhood might be being used as hunting grounds.
On Sunday, Nov. 7 at 7:59 a.m., the police received a call from the neighborhood about the possibility of there being bow hunters in the area.
Two vehicles — a silver truck and a red car — were parked at a trailhead, the police were told.
Just earlier, at 7:51 a.m., the police received a call about the possibility of hunters close to the April Mountain neighborhood. Three trailers were seen on Aerie Drive, the police were told.
Hunting is prohibited inside Park City. The Police Department occasionally receives reports of hunters, though.
Miners baseball explodes for 12 runs in 4th inning to defeat Stansbury
The Miners baseball team hosted the Stansbury Stallions on a warm Tuesday afternoon. The Miners busted the game wide open in the fourth inning with 12 runs, after the Stallions’ starting pitcher was ejected for arguing a call. The final score was a 15-4 Park City victory, called in the middle of the fifth inning due to mercy rule.
