Pioneer Theatre Company auditions
Auditions for Pioneer Theatre Company’s production of "Of Mice and Men" by John Steinbeck will be held on Thursday, June 28, from noon p.m. until 5 p.m. at the Roy W. and Elizabeth E. Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre.
Callbacks are scheduled for Friday, June 29; that time will be announced to actors who are called back.
Audition slots from noon p.m. to 1 p.m. on June 28 are for Actors’ Equity members only. Audition slots from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. are open to all actors.
Roles are for nine males and one female; all roles are available and all actors must be aged18 or older.
Guest director Mary Robinson will direct the production; she and PTC Artistic Director Karen Azenberg will attend the audition.
NonEquity actors must come in to sign up on the callboard in Room 325. That sign-up will be posted at noon on Thursday, June 21. Equity members may contact Elizabeth Williamson at email@example.com to sign up, no earlier than June 21.
All actors will be asked to read from the script. Sides from the play will be available during the sign-up, as well as scripts for checkout.
Auditions will be held in Room 245. A photo and résumé are recommended.
Rehearsal dates for the production are Monday, September 24, through Thursday, October 18. Performances will run from Friday, Oct. 19, through Saturday, Nov. 3.
