On Sunday, Sept. 20 at 10:19 a.m., someone noticed a small dog by itself on Oak Wood Drive. It wore a shock collar, the police were told. Summit County Animal Control was summoned.

A suspected drunken-driving case was reported on the 400 block of Main Street at 1:45 a.m. It involved someone in a black Dodge truck, but public police logs do not provide details.

On Saturday, Sept. 19 at 4:16 p.m., someone called the police reporting there were bicyclists using the skate park at City Park. The police occasionally receive similar complaints, and responding officers typically ask them to leave. Bicyclists are prohibited from using the skateboard park.

Someone called the police at 3:58 p.m. reporting an assault a few days earlier. The case was on the 400 block of Main Street. Public police logs do not provide details.

Someone driving a pickup truck reportedly was swerving in and out of the traffic lane on S.R. 248 at 1:35 p.m. The police tried to find the driver, who was in a pickup truck. The person was driving inbound close to the location where the road narrows as it approaches Prospector.

Police officers handed out coupons for Slurpees and Subway sandwiches at 12:14 p.m. at City Park, part of a program meant to encourage good behavior. A bicycle was reportedly stolen out of a garage on Doc Holliday Drive at 7:38 p.m.

On Thursday, Sept. 17 at 1:31 a.m. two people reportedly were seen kicking over garbage cans on Rossi Hill Drive.

Someone called the police at 1:19 a.m. after seeing a bicyclist fall several times as the person was riding uphill on the 600 block of Park Avenue.

On Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 3:40 p.m., the police received a complaint from someone claiming that a neighbor was parking in front of the mailbox on Comstock Drive. The vehicle was blocking the person from getting the mail.

On Tuesday, Sept. 15 at 11:01 a.m., someone complained that a tree might have been poisoned on Meadow Creek Court.

On Monday, Sept. 14 at 2:33 p.m., a dog reportedly leaped out of a window on Main Street onto an awning above the sidewalk.

A stray dog was reportedly seen in traffic on the 1500 block of Park Avenue at 12:30 p.m.
