On Sunday, Oct. 31 at 10:43 p.m., the police received a report of four men fighting in the China Bridge garage. Public police logs did not provide details, but the police classified the case as an assault.

A suspected drunken driving case was reported on S.R. 224 close to the Park Avenue police station. The police said the case occurred at 9:43 p.m.

The police were called to the 700 block of Main Street at 9:38 p.m., when an intoxicated man reportedly was threatening people at a bar.

At 7:30 p.m., the police received a complaint about a driver on S.R. 224, with the person who contacted the police claiming that the driver "is all over the road." the person was driving a sport utility vehicle.

A traffic accident was reported at the Kearns Boulevard-Comstock Drive intersection at 7:18 p.m. Nobody was injured, the police said. One of the vehicles involved was a BMW, the police said.

A driver reportedly hit a vehicle and then drove away on the 400 block of Swede Alley at 5:58 p.m. The suspect was last seen on Swede Alley.

The Police Department received several reports of children becoming lost on Main Street on Sunday during the Halloween festivities, which drew a sizable crowd to the street. In one of the cases, reported at 4:42 p.m. on the 500 block of Main Street, a 3-year-old wearing a dinosaur costume was briefly reported missing.

At 4:01 p.m., the police were called about a dispute between a landlord and a tenant about a deposit. The call came from a person in Park Meadows.

A traffic accident was reported at 2:40 p.m. at the Kearns Boulevard-Comstock Drive intersection. Nobody was injured, the police said.

The Police Department received a report about two missing men in Deer Valley, with the authorities being contacted at 1:43 p.m. after the two did not return from a hike. The police were told the men — a 20-year-old and a 10-year-old — left on the hike in the morning. They later turned up.

A vandalism case involving a vehicle was reported at 10:26 a.m. on Lucky John Drive.

An intoxicated person was seen at the Old Town transit center at 1:30 a.m. A taxi was called for the person.

At 1:16 a.m., a man reportedly fell asleep in a taxi and had trouble waking up. The taxi was on the 500 block of Main Street.

On Saturday, Oct. 30 at 11:43 p.m., a vehicle ran out of gas on S.R. 224. AAA was called.

At 1:50 a.m., a man and woman, appearing to be in their 20s, were seen in the pool area of a lodging property on the 800 block of Main Street. They were trespassing, the police were told.

At 12:14 a.m., two kids wearing camouflage were reportedly seen chasing another person on Kearns Boulevard.

On Friday, Oct. 29 at 3:02 p.m., a driver reportedly was seen "racing up and down" Royal Street skidding around corners.

An accident was reported on the 1700 block of Kearns Boulevard at 2:27 p.m. Public police logs did not indicate anybody was injured.

A vehicle was reportedly broken into on the 1300 block of Lowell Avenue sometime before 12:32 p.m. A fur coat and a "very expensive" pair of sunglasses were taken, the police were told.

Two moose were seen in the road on S.R. 224 at 4:39 a.m.

A suspected drunken driving case was reported at 1:20 a.m. on Deer Valley Drive.

On Thursday, Oct. 28 at 10:01 a.m. graffiti was discovered on the 500 block of Main Street. The police photographed the graffiti for documentation.

The Police Department received three complaints about students skipping classes at Park City High School, with the cases being reported between 9:17 a.m. and 9:29 a.m.

An elk was found dead on S.R. 224 at just after 7 a.m. Earlier, at 5:12 a.m., a driver reportedly hit two of the animals on the state highway. The police said the windshield on the sport utility vehicle was destroyed and the left fender was damaged. Glass got into the eye of someone in the vehicle, the police were told. It was not clear from public police logs whether the dead elk was involved in the accident.

On Wednesday, Oct. 27 at 12:05 p.m. graffiti was found in a pedestrian-bicyclist tunnel at City Park.

Three students reportedly skipped classes at Park City High School in the 8 a.m., hour, and another one was reported at 7:37 a.m.

On Tuesday, Oct. 26 at 8:33 a.m. the police received a report that someone was hunting with a bow and arrow on City Hall-owned property in or close to Round Valley.
