On Saturday, March 5 at 7:11 p.m., someone told the police a cooking mistake triggered a smoke detector to sound. The case was reported on the 2000 block of Sidewinder Drive.

The Police Department was informed of a case involving missing skis on the 2200 block of Deer Valley Drive at 2:22 p.m. The police were told the skis had been checked into storage several days before. When the person went to retrieve the skis, on March 2, they had already been given to someone, the police were told. The other person had the same tag number, according to the police. The Police Department classified the case as a theft, but public police logs did not disclose a value.

Someone on Iron Mountain Drive at 11:57 a.m. contacted the police, saying they have a surveillance camera that can be monitored online. The person was out of town and the camera was not working, the police were told. The telephone number had a busy signal, the person told the police. The Police Department classified the case as suspicious.

A wallet was found on the 1500 block of Snow Creek Drive at 10:43 a.m.

The Police Department received a complaint from someone on Crescent Road at 4:27 a.m., with the person claiming there was a party occurring. The person wanted to press charges, the police were told.

A case involving disorderly conduct was reported on the 200 block of Main Street at 12:48 a.m. Public police logs did not provide details about the conduct but indicated one of the people involved had a Utah driver license.

On Friday, March 4 at 11:40 p.m., the police received a complaint that a man refused to leave a nightclub on the 300 block of Main Street when a staffer asked.

At 9:58 p.m., a Jeep was reportedly taken from the 500 block of Main Street. It was last seen two hours before the police were contacted. Public police logs did not provide details.

Someone on Daly Avenue contacted the police at 8:29 p.m., saying a vehicle was parked in their driveway.

A traffic accident was reported at 7:08 p.m. on Swede Alley. The police said nobody was injured.

A driver hit another vehicle on the 1700 block of Sidewinder Drive and then left the scene at a little after 3 p.m. The police were told a driver in a sport utility vehicle backed into another vehicle, breaking the other vehicle’s taillight.

At 2:11 p.m., the police were told beds were found disheveled and clothes were discovered in a bathroom in a residence on Jupiter View Drive. The people who live there are reportedly out of town for an extended period of time. The Police Department classified the case as suspicious.

At 1:24 p.m., the police received a call from Daly Avenue, with the person saying a dog with short black fur was seen running "frantically" down Main Street.

A taxi driver was reportedly seen stuck on S.R. 224 at 10:08 a.m. The driver asked the passenger to call the police for assistance, but the passenger was unsure what type of help was needed, the police said. The person left the taxi driver and returned to a hotel.

The Police Department received a complaint from someone on Woodbine Way at 9:51 a.m., fielding a report that employees who had been terminated might have stolen two vacuums, six sets of sheets and vacuum attachments.

Someone called the police at 6:14 a.m. claiming that a snowplow was pushing snow onto the street on the 2100 block of Park Avenue.

On Thursday, March 3 at 9:57 a.m., the police received a call from the 1300 block of Lowell Avenue, where a man was reportedly trying to sell a lift ticket. A security guard was trying to stop him and a small scuffle ensued, the police said.

A student reportedly skipped school at Park City High School at 9:19 a.m., resulting in a second warning to the student.

At 12:34 a.m. two men reportedly "destroyed the bathroom" on the 600 block of Main Street. Security guards had detained them, the police said.

On Wednesday, March 2, skis were reportedly stolen from a garage on Gilt Edge Circle sometime before 5:22 p.m.

A young woman was detained on the 1700 block of Park Avenue, with the police saying she was accused of shoplifting.

At 1:08 p.m., a delivery truck backed into a parked Mercedes-Benz on the 1800 block of Sidewinder Drive. Nobody was injured, the police said.

On Tuesday, March 1 at 1:04 p.m.,, a dog was reported to have been left in a locked car in an underground garage on the 1300 block of Lowell Avenue, the police were told. The dog was barking.

On Monday, Feb. 28 at 7:47 p.m., a driver hit another vehicle and then left the scene on the 1800 block of Bonanza Drive.

A vehicle was reportedly broken into while it was parked in the China Bridge garage, with the report being filed at 5:26 p.m. A backpack was missing from the back seat, the police were told.

A hit-and-run traffic accident was reported on Main Street at 10:26 a.m. A Park City Transit driver reported the case, which apparently involved two pickup trucks.
