On Sunday, Nov. 25 at 10:42 p.m., a driver hit a deer at or close to the intersection of Bonanza Drive and Deer Valley Drive. The deer survived the impact but died a short time later, the police said. A Public Works Department crew was summoned to remove the carcass.
Someone contacted the police at 12:32 p.m. concerned about the possibility that an online advertisement for a vacation rental might be fraudulent. The person reported the case at the Park Avenue police station. Public police logs did not provide details, including which neighborhood the vacation rental was located.
A hit-and-run traffic accident was reported at 10:16 a.m. on Daly Avenue. A Audi was hit, the police were told. The person who reported the case to the police was unsure whether the accident occurred late the previous night or early in the morning of the report.
On Saturday, Nov. 24 at 11:31 p.m., a suspected drunken driving case was reported at the intersection of Park Avenue and Homestake Road. Public police logs did not provide details.
At 5:21 p.m., the police received a report that a dog bit someone’s son. The bite occurred the day before and punctured the skin. The report was filed by someone on Ashley Court, but it was not clear from public police logs whether the bite occurred on that street.
At 1:32 p.m., someone on Deer Crest Estates Drive reported a garage-door remote control had been stolen from a vehicle.

A suspected alcohol offense was reported at the intersection of Deer Valley Drive and Aerie Drive at 1:54 a.m. Public police logs did not provide details.
On Friday, Nov. 23 at 4:51 p.m., the police received a report that three moose were seen on Norfolk Avenue heading toward Park Avenue.
On Thursday, Nov. 22 at 1:13 p.m., someone staying in a rental unit somewhere along Main Street complained of the smell of garbage at 1:13 p.m.
On Wednesday, Nov. 21 at 10:51 p.m., a vehicle reportedly became stuck on a median at or close to the intersection of Bonanza Drive and Kearns Boulevard. The police were told someone was "ripping the truck apart trying to get it off," according to police logs. The Police Department said the case might have involved drunken driving.
On Tuesday, Nov. 20, four truant students were reported between 2:23 p.m. and 2:47 p.m. At least three of them were Park City High School students, the police were told.
At 6:11 a.m., a driver reportedly hit a deer on S.R. 248 just east of Prospector. The driver was outbound.
On Monday, Nov. 19 at 2:10 p.m., someone on Jupiter View Drive reported a purse containing money and jewelry described as valuable was stolen.
At 12:33 p.m., the police were called to the 1900 block of Woodbine Way, where flames were reportedly seen at a substation. The person who contacted the police was worried the substation would explode, according to logs. The police said there were no flames when officers arrived and an arcing tower was fixed.
