Police: crowds are behaving

A Park City Police Department sergeant said there had not been major problems with crowds through midday Saturday. Lynn Nagel said he was aware of one arrest, on a drunken-driving charge, on Friday night.

Nagel, though, said police officers on duty Friday night were busy. "The festival is proceeding nicely," he said.

A crash was reported on Deer Valley Drive on Saturday, but details were not immediately available. He said improperly parked cars caused problems on Saturday as well. Nagel expected Saturday night would be hopping on Main Street.

"We’re gearing up for heavy traffic and heavy attendance," Nagel said.
