Politicians plan gathering

What: Meet-and-greet session. Everyone is welcome.

When: Tuesday, Oct. 23, starting at 7 p.m. It will likely last a few hours.

Where: Park Meadows Country Club clubhouse, 2000 Meadows Drive.

Who: The six Park City Council candidates are scheduled to attend. Mountain Trails Foundation Executive Director Carol Potter plans to talk about City Hall’s $15 million bond to make the city safer for pedestrians and bicyclists. There will also be a discussion about the statewide school-voucher ballot measure. Summit County Republicans and the county’s Democrats will have representatives.

Why: Election Day is nearing, and the Park Meadows neighbors who organized the event want voters to learn about the candidates and the issues.
