PARK CITY MOUNTAIN RESORT

On April 2, PCMR is reporting 20 inches of new snow and has a base depth of 87 inches. Sixteen lifts are open, serving 110 runs, 44 groomed. Eight bowls, one halfpipe and four parks are open. THE CANYONS RESORT

On April 2, The Canyons Resort is reporting 23 inches of new snow in the last 48 hours and has a summit base depth of 87 inches. Eighteen lifts are open, serving 159 runs, 58 groomed. Two of three parks are open. The Canyons will extend weekend hours on lifts for the remainder of the season, with an extra hour of skiing on the High Meadow and Saddleback Express lifts and the Flight of the Canyons gondola. DEER VALLEY

On April 2, Deer Valley is reporting 18 inches of new snow in the last 48 hours and has a snow depth of 85 inches. Twenty-one lifts are open, serving 100 runs and seven bowls. WHITE PINE TOURING

All 5 kilometers of the Back Nine on the golf course, 3K on the Front Nine and 10K on The Farm are open and groomed until April 15. Parts of the course are getting thin, and caution is advised. UTAH AVALANCHE CENTER

The Utah Avalanche Center is issuing intermittent advisories at http://www.utahavalanchecenter.org and on its toll-free hotline, 1-888-999-4019. An avalanche warning is in effect for the Western Uinta Mountains, with heavy snow combined with strong winds rapidly overloading a weak, pre-existing snowpack. Human-triggered avalanches are likely on steep slopes, and people are advised to avoid traveling in avalanche terrain.

WASATCH-CACHE NATIONAL FOREST

Mirror Lake Highway 150 and Highway 35 are closed to traffic. Snowmobiling and cross-country skiing are still possible, but snow is melting fast. Hiking trails remain inaccessible. For more information call 435-783-4338.

UTAH OLYMPIC PARK

The Utah Olympic Park is open daily 10 a.m.-6 p.m., with two free museums, self-guided tours and athlete training. Expert guided tours of the Olympic venue run daily 11 a.m.-4 p.m. The winter Comet Bobsled ride is now closed. Visit http://www.olyparks.com for more info or call 435-658-4200.

GORGOZA PARK

The park offers seven tubing lanes, mini-snowmobile rides and tubing carousel for children ages six and younger. It is open from 1 to 8 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays and noon-8 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The season will end Monday.
