On Tuesday morning, the resort reported a 26-inch base. Twenty-eight of 116 runs are open (16 groomed), along with one of four parks, one of nine bowls and seven of 16 lifts. At Canyons, six of 18 lifts are open, along with 10 of 179 trails (five groomed). The resort is reporting 62 inches of snow to date, including 13 inches in the past 72 hours, with a 28-inch base depth at mid-mountain and a 34-inch base at the summit. The Utah Olympic Park is open daily, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Guided tours on the hour from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Museums are free to explore. The winter Comet Bobsled Rides and Rocket Skeleton Rides are now open for the winter season. Bobsled rides are Tuesday through Saturday and Skeleton rides are Fridays and Saturdays. Soldier Hollow, near Midway, offers cross-country skiing for beginners to experts on the site of the 2002 Olympics. The trails are open daily from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Daily rates are $18 for adults, $9 for juniors (ages 7-17), $15 for seniors (65+). Kids under 7 are free. Snowshoeing passes are $10 for adults, $5 for juniors. Soldier Hollow also has Utah’s longest (1,200-foot) tubing lanes, which come with lift service, lights and a sound system. The lanes are open from noon to 8 p.m. Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturdays and holiday periods, and noon to 4 p.m. on Sundays. Gorgoza Park, owned and operated by Park City Mountain Resort, is scheduled to run from Dec. 1 through April 7. The scheduled hours of operation are: Saturday and Sunday, noon to 8 p.m.; Monday through Friday 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Extended holiday hours are as follows: Dec. 22 through Jan. 6, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Jan. 19 through 21, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Feb. 16 through 18, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Feb. 19 through 22, noon to 8 p.m.; April 5 through 7, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Regular-season ticket costs are: $8 for one ride, $22 for two hours and $33 for four hours.
