PARK CITY MOUNTAIN RESORT

On Friday morning, PCMR was reporting a 52-inch base. The resort has received 141 inches of snow to date, with three inches in the past 24 hours. At PCMR, 115 of 116 runs were open Friday (50 groomed), along with all four parks, two pipes, eight of nine bowls and all 16 lifts. CANYONS RESORT

At Canyons, 156 of 179 trails were open Friday (52 groomed), along with all five bowls. All 19 lifts were running. The resort is reporting 144 inches of snow year to date, with a 38-inch base at mid-mountain and a 56-inch base at the summit, and three inches of snow in the past 24 hours. DEER VALLEY RESORT

Deer Valley is reporting a 54-inch base, with four inches of new snow in the past 24 hours. All of the resort’s 21 lifts are running, serving 98 of 100 runs and all seven bowls. UTAH OLYMPIC PARK

The Utah Olympic Park is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. There are guided tours on the hour from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Museums are free to explore. The winter Comet Bobsled Rides and Rocket Skeleton Rides are now open for the winter season. Reservations are highly recommended. SOLDIER HOLLOW CROSS COUNTRY

Soldier Hollow, near Midway, offers cross-country skiing for beginners to experts on the site of the 2002 Olympics. The trails are open daily from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Soldier Hollow has 13 trails totaling 25K, with five groomed trails totaling 10K. Soldier Hollow also has Utah’s longest (1,200-foot) tubing lanes, which come with lift service, lights and a sound system. MOUNTAIN TRAILS

Mountain Trails is reporting good skiing, with the Rail Trail from Bonanza Drive to Richardson Flat and most of Round Valley groomed this week. The best skiing at Round Valley is on the Quinn’s loops, OZ and Silver Queen trails. Coverage on the Rail Trail is thin between Richardson Flat and Pace Ranch. BASIN RECREATION

WHITE PINE TOURING

GORGOZA TUBING PARK

Gorgoza Park, owned and operated by Park City Mountain Resort, is scheduled to run through April 7. The scheduled hours of operation are: Saturday and Sunday, noon to 8 p.m.; Monday through Friday 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Extended holiday hours are as follows: Feb. 16-18, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Feb. 19-22, noon to 8 p.m.; April 5-7, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Ticket are $8 for one ride, $22 for two hours and $33 for four hours. WASATCH-CACHE NATIONAL FOREST

The Kamas Ranger District maintains several cross-country ski and snowmobile trails in the Uinta Mountains east of Kamas. The 5-mile groomed Beaver Creek Trail parallels S.R. 150 and is accessible from a number of parking areas along the highway. Dogs are allowed on this trail only on odd-numbered days.
