Park City Mountain Resort

As of Friday, Feb. 24, Park City Mountain Resort reports 96 inches of snow with 14 lifts operating, 101 runs and 8 bowls open. Adult day passes are $75, children $45, and seniors $45. The Canyons Resort



The Canyons Resort, as of Friday, Feb. 24, reported 91 inches of snow with 146 runs open serviced by 16 lifts. The Canyons’ operation hours are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, call 649-5400 or log onto http://www.the canyons.com.

White Pine Touring Center



The White Pine Touring cross-country track is now running all three loops, with 20k of skiable, groomed terrain. The center is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. For more information about rentals and pricing, call 649-6249. The Soldier Hollow cross-country course is now open with 11k of groomed track. Hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily. Wasatch-Cache National Forest

Mirror Lake Highway, S.R. 150, is now closed at Soapstone Basin, mile marker 14. The Beaver Creek Trail is now groomed for cross-country skiers and snowshoers. Dogs will be allowed on odd numbered days. Snowmobilers are permitted to ride at Soapstone Basin. For more information, contact the Kamas Ranger District at (435) 783-4338.

Conditions, as of Friday, Feb. 24, are as follows for Utah ski resorts: Alta is reporting 134 inches of snow with 116 runs open and 7 lifts; Beaver Mountain reports 83 inches of snow with 30 runs and 5 lifts open; Brian Head is reporting 50 inches of snow with 54 runs and 7 lifts operating; Brighton Ski Resort is reporting a base of 122 inches served by 6 lifts and 66 runs; Powder Mountain is open and reporting 117 inches of snow served by 7 lifts and 113 runs; Solitude has 122 inches of snow served by 8 lifts and 64 runs; Snowbasin is reporting 121 inches of snow served by 84 runs and 11 lifts; Snowbird is reporting 121 inches of snow with 85 runs and 11 lifts open; Sundance Resort is reporting 78 inches of snow with 48 runs and 4 lifts open; and Wolf Mountain is reporting 101 inches of snow served by 3 lifts and 17 runs.

Utah Avalanche Forecast

The Utah Avalanche Center forecast, as of Friday, Feb. 24, reports moderate avalanche danger in the backcountry on steep, upper elevation slopes. Watch for southerly facing slopes that may produce wet activity and lingering, shallow wind drifts on steeper terrain. Also, watch for cracking as you travel. Tubing

Gorgoza Park, located off I-80, is now open for the season for tubing and mini snowmobile activities. Hours of operation are 1-8 p.m. For prices or more information, call 658-2648. The Soldier Hollow tubing hill, located in Midway, is open.
