Park City Mountain Resort Park City Mountain Resort is slated to open for winter operations Nov. 19. On Nov. 18, skiers can purchase tickets for $20. For more information, call (800) 222-7275 or log onto http://www.parkcitymountain.com. The Canyons Resort The Canyons Resort is slated to open for winter operations Nov. 19. For more information, call 649-5400 or log onto http://www.thecanyons.com. Mountain Trails The Mountain Trails Foundaiton maintains trails in and around the Park City area. As of Friday, Nov. 11, temperatures are cooling down and trails are a little muddy from recent rain. Higher-elevation trails may be snow covered. Watch for sheep dogs on the Glenwild Trail and Cobblestone Loop, they are aggressive and do not like bikers and hikers. New mid-season revision trail maps can be found at local bike shops, the visitor’s center, and more. For more information, call 649-1689 or visit http://www.mountaintrails.org. Wasatch-Cache National Forest All upper-level campgrounds are closed for the season in the Uinta Mountains. The water has been turned off and some of the lavatories are locked up.
