Park City Mountain Resort
As of Feb. 12, Park City Mountain Resort is reporting 15 lifts open, servicing 106 runs, 47 of which are groomed. There are eight bowls, one pipe and three parks open. The base depth is 97 inches. The Canyons Resort
As of Feb. 12, The Canyons Resort is reporting 17 lifts open, servicing 153 trails, 54 of which are groomed. There are six natural half-pipes and five bowls open. The mid-mountain base depth is 71 inches. Upper Respect has 15 features and Lower Respect is now open with five features. Painted Horse Progression Park is open with 15 features. Deer Valley
As of Feb. 12, Deer Valley Resort has 22 lifts, 97 runs (65 of which are groomed) and 7 bowls open. Deer Valley is reporting an 118 inch base. Full day lift tickets are $79 for adults and $47 for children. Discounted rates are available for half-day, seniors and "tots." Because the resort limits the number of skiers to 6,500 daily, tickets can be purchased in advance online or by calling the ticket office at 645-6625. City and Basin Trails Report
As of Feb. 8, the Rail Trail has been groomed from Bonanza to S.R. 248. Conditions are soft and powdery. Grooming is limited to 248 due to snow banks. Mountain Trails would also like Round Valley trail-users to respect private property and not park blocking driveways, hydrants or access by emergency equipment. For more information, visit

White Pine Touring
As of Feb. 12, all 5 km of the Back Nine on the golf course, 3 km on the Front Nine and 10 km on The Farm are open and groomed. For more information please call 649-6249.

Soldier Hollow
As of Feb. 12, Soldier Hollow has 31 km of track and 18 trails groomed and is reporting a 42 inch base. They are also reporting four moose sightings. Groomer’s choice is Spin ‘n Grin. Open track length can change daily so for more information call 654-2002 or visit

Gorgoza Park
The Gorgoza Park Tubing is open seven days a week, from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tubing rates range from $3 to $14 for children under 7, and $8 to $27 for adults. Mini-snowmobile rides are $9 each and for ages 5-12 only. For more information, call 658-2648.

Utah Avalanche Center is reporting updated information on avalanche dangers. As of Feb. 8, avalanche dangers in the Western Uintas are "moderate." Avalanches are infrequent but possible. Wasatch-Cache National Forest
Due to recent snowfall, the Ranger District’s trails have not been groomed since Jan. 22. However, they are hoping to groom the 6 miles of the Beaver Creek Ski Trail some time this week. For more information, call 783-4338.
