Salt Lake woman found near Bald Mountain

Searchers located a 48-year-old Salt Lake County woman Monday night who was last seen in the Uinta Mountains Saturday.
They began combing the forest east of Kamas looking for the woman Monday morning, said Detective Ron Bridge, of the Summit County Sheriff’s Office.
Gina Trujillo, 48, was located at about 7:45 p.m. in the Holiday Park area of the Uinta Mountains, according to Bridge.
She had traveled about 10 miles from where she parked her vehicle near the Bald Mountain trailhead Saturday at about 1 p.m. Trujillo was in good condition and was quickly reunited with family members.
A camp attendant last saw Trujillo Saturday at the Soapstone campground near the Mirror Lake Highway. Her vehicle was found Monday parked at the Bald Mountain trailhead.
Volunteer Summit County Sheriff’s Office searchers, American Search Dogs and a state Department of Public Safety helicopter pilot participated in Monday’s search, which began at about 10 a.m.
