Save the date for the 41st annual Arts Fest

Submitted by Kimball Art Center

The Kimball Art Festival is one of the top art festivals in the country and a popular, highly anticipated event for artists, locals and visitors.

Over 45,000 visitors will flock to Park City on August 6-8 to enjoy and collect the work of national and international artists that vie for a spot in this annual juried show. Live music, fine art, food, and a family creativity center offering art workshops and panel discussions are just some of the reasons to come to Park City the first weekend in August.

The Arts Festival kicks off with its popular Gala and Art Auction the evening of Friday, August 6. The event features work from renowned artists, students of the Kimball’s Young Artists’ Academy and work created that week by visiting students participating in the first annual Relevant 2010 Artists-in-Residence program.

With Sundance Institute art films like "clay-mation" award-winner "Mary and Max" screening at the historic Egyptian Theatre, outdoor concerts, the new Music Café at Downstairs, and Main Street restaurants featuring special "Food as Art" events, the Park City Kimball Art Festival is a jam-packed weekend celebrating the arts in all of its forms.
