Community Giving Day

Whole Foods Market in Park City will host a Community Giving Day benefiting KPCW Radio on Thursday, Jan. 21. Five percent of all sales at the Kimball Junction location will be used to help KPCW continue to support other nonprofits through interviews and broadcasting of over 26,000 free public service announcements annually. Hosts Chris Cherniak and Katie Noble will present a live broadcast from the Whole Foods Market café from 9 to 11 a.m. Special guests will include professionals from the independent film industry who are involved with the production of "green films."

Volunteers needed for Art-Kids fundraiser

Volunteers are needed to help prepare for Arts-Kids’ annual fundraiser, "Paint the Town: Step Up to the Plate." The event will be held Sunday, Feb. 28, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Swaner EcoCenter. Mountain Town Music, a nonprofit organization whose goal is to present, support and foster live music in Park City and Summit County, is seeking individuals to serve on its Board of Trustees.
