Flu vaccinations

Park City Vaccines is providing basic immunizations at Silver Mountain Sports Clubs. The public is encouraged to come in and get their flu shots. Sessions will be held Monday, Nov. 8, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Prospector Square location, 2080 Gold Dust Lane; Thursday, Nov. 11, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the Kimball Junction location, 1526 Ute Blvd.; and Tuesday, Nov. 30, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Kimball Junction location.

Newcomers’ meeting

The Newcomers’ Club of Greater Park City will hold its monthly coffee meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 10, at 10 a.m. at the Park City Community Church, located on Bear Hollow Dr. behind the Park City Nursery. The guest speakers will be representatives from Park City Mountain Resort, The Canyons and Deer Valley, who will talk about "what’s new" at the local ski resorts. Lunch will be at Baja Cantina (at PCMR) following the meeting.

Park City Dance Club

Learn social dances at Park City Dance Club classes, held every Thursday through Dec. 2 from 8 to 9 p.m. at Park City Dance Academy, 6554 Creekside Drive at Kimball Junction. The Park City Curling Club will host a "Disco Learn to Curl Party" on Saturday, Nov. 13, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Park City Ice Arena. Photography contest

The Kimball Art Center is hosting a photography contest for students in kindergarten through grade 12, thanks to funding from the Museum Project Support Grant through the State of Utah Division of Arts and Museums. Students throughout the state can submit one photograph that exemplifies the theme "My Life, My Landscape" to be entered into a juried competition. Students must submit one digital, traditional or alternative photograph to the online gallery. The contest runs through Dec. 1 and 13 photos will be chosen for display on the Kimball Art Center’s Community Wall on Dec. 11. For more information, visit
