Student Art & Photo Contest
Enter the Park City Education Foundation Foundation’s Art and Photo Contest and win a chance to have your work published. The contest is open to all students in the Park City School District. Take a photo or create a work of art showing what science or math looks like in your school. Storytelling and folk music sing-along at the library
In conjunction with the Smithsonian traveling exhibit, "New Harmonies: Celebrating American Roots Music," at the Park City Museum, the Park City Library is hosting storytelling and folk music sing-alongs throughout April and May. Dog obedience classes
Park City Recreation starts a new six-week session of dog obedience classes on Tuesday, April 27. Three courses (puppy, basic or intermediate) are offered to fit the need of your dog. Classes are taught by a local certified dog trainer Heather Hampsten and are held at the Park City Recreation Building Tuesdays at 6, 7 and 8 p.m. Registration is open until classes are filled. Composting is nature’s own recycling system. The Swaner EcoCenter, 1258 Center Dr., will host a composting workshop Tuesday, April 27, at 7 p.m. Insa Riepen from Recycle Utah will demonstrate how easy it is to start composting at home. Mother’s Day contest
Does your mom deserve a day of pampering? The Spa at Stein Eriksen Lodge is offering a 50-minute massage, 50-minute facial, and all-day access to the pool, relaxation room, saunas and fitness center to one deserving mom. To enter, submit a 200-word essay to email@example.com explaining why your nominated mom deserves some time out for herself. Enter "My Mother" in the subject line and include your mom’s name, address, phone number and a photo of her, along with your name and phone number. The deadline for entries is midnight, May 2.
