Concerts selling out

Willie Nelson’s performance on Sept. 4 at Deer Valley as part of the Big Stars, Bright Nights Summer Concert Series has been sold out. Other concerts such as Etta James are not sold out yet, but are getting close. For tickets, call 655-3114.

Urinetown

The award-winning comical musical, Urinetown, will make its regional premier at Park City’ Egyptian Theatre starting this weekend and going through Aug. 19 at 8 p.m. For more information or tickets, call 649-9371.

Air Show

The Heber Valley Airshow will take place today at 10 a.m. at the Heber City Airport/Russ McDonald Field. Proceeds will benefit the Heber Valley Aero Museum and then Commemorative Airforce.

Salt Lake Jazz Festival

The Salt Lake City International Jazz Festival will start at 5:30 p.m. today. Some tickets must be purchased in advance. There will be free events throughout local outlets in Washington Square.

The Canyon’s free outdoor concerts

For the seventh straight year, The Canyons Resort is teaming up with Zion’s Park City Bank to offer free, outdoor concerts every Saturday this summer, beginning July 15. Guests attending the summer concert series will park in the main parking lot and ride the Cabriolet into the Resort Village. All concerts begin at 6 p.m. on the main stage in the Resort Village.
