Father and Child Outdoor Adventure

The Swaner EcoCenter, 1258 Center Dr. at Kimball Junction, will host a father and child outdoor adventure session on Saturday, June 16, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Fathers and children will learn about the local environment, explore a wetland, hike and complete a stewardship project on the Preserve. This event is open to children ages seven to 11. Pre-registration is required. The cost is $5 per group for non-members, and free for members who have a family membership. Park Silly Sunday Market

The Park Silly Sunday Market continues on Main Street on Sunday, June 17, at 10 a.m. The market will feature food, crafts, soaps and other locally-produced items each Sunday through Sept. 23. Main stage music on June 17 will include Triggers & Slips at 11 a.m. and Dr. Bob at 2 p.m. The Post Office stage will feature Chad Gourely at 10 a.m. and Atomic Army at 1 p.m. Admission is free. Family Pajama Story Time at the Library

The Summit County Library Kimball Junction Branch, 1885 W. Ute Blvd., will present a family pajama story time on Monday, June 18, at 6 p.m. Children and their parents or caretakers can come dressed in their pajamas and hear stories about the nighttime.
