Arts Festival volunteers

The Kimball Art Center Invites is looking for volunteers to take part in the Park City Kimball Arts Festival. The Park City Kimball Arts Festival is Utah’s oldest and longest running Visual Arts Festival. Festival dates this year are August 5 – 6. This year’s festival will feature more than 200 nationally acclaimed artists and craftsmen, along with great food, live entertainment and fun family activities. Volunteers will help out in all areas from face painting to artist registration and ticket taking. To register, e-mail membership@kimball-art.org or call (435) 649-8882.

Disco Night cancelled

Due to circumstances beyond Moutain Town Stages control involving the local chapter of the B.P.O.E. Elks Lodge, they are forced to cancel the "Shake Your Groove Thang" Disco fundraiser scheduled for Saturday June 24. Mountain Town Stages apologizes for any inconvenience. Urinetown

The musical comedy, "Urinetown," will come back to the Park City’s Egyptian Theatre Company July 7 through Aug. 19. The critically acclaimed show was the winner of the 2002 Tony Awards for best book, best score, and best direction.

Powwow and Rendezvous

The Heber Powwow and Mountain Man Rendezvous will take place at Soldier Hollow today from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. and tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $5 fro the general public and ages siz and under are free.
