The Eighth Annual Con Brio Music Festival

The eighth annual Con Brio Music Festival will be held at Park City Community Church, 4501 S.R. 224, on Friday, March 23, and Saturday, March 24. Friday’s opening piano recital by Dr. Paul Higdon will begin at 7 p.m. The competitions will run Saturday, beginning at 9 a.m., and the Con Brio Awards Recital will begin at 7 p.m. Admission is free. Jeff Corwin at the Eccles Center

The celebrity conservationist/environmental journalist Jeff Corwin, best known for his Emmy Award-winning shows on Animal Planet and Discovery, will give a presentation at the Eccles Center for the Performing Arts, 1750 Kearns Blvd., on Saturday, March 24, at 7 p.m. Corwin combines humor and adventure in his "Tales from the Field" show. Guest appearances by animals help illustrate the Earth-friendly messages in a fun expedition that doesn’t require leaving the theater.
