The Commemorative Air Force Utah Wing will present "Celebrating Our Legacy" at the Heber City Municipal Airport, 1980 Airport Road, Heber, on Saturday, May 28, beginning at noon. The event will offer plane rides, jazz music, swing dancing, food and a screening of the John Wayne movie "Flying Tigers." Also at 2 p.m. the CAF will honor World War II veterans. Admission is free.

The Newcomers’ Membership Coffee Meeting

The Newcomers’ Membership Coffee Meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 8, at the Park City Community Church on Bear Hollow Dr. at 10 a.m. This month’s program will feature speakers from Dolly’s Bookstore, a long time favorite Main Street venue. Lunch will be served afterwards at Yamoto, 1781 Sidewinder Dr.

The Annual McPolin Farm Pig Roast and Dance

The Annual McPolin Farm Pig Roast and Dance will be held Saturday, June 25, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., at the farm, 3000 S.R. 224. Tickets are $25 per person and go on sale at the Park City Library on June 1, 2011. In addition to food by Kumbayah Kitchens, guests can dance the Blue Sage Band. Bring your own drinks and sensible shoes. Since there is no parking at the farm, a complementary Ski Taxi shuttle will pick up guests at the Jess Reid Building parking lot on the corner of Kearns and Park Ave. Shuttle times are posted on the tickets.

Utah Music Festival and School Summer camps

The Utah Music Festival and School summer camps are open to all instruments and voice in Classical, Jazz, Country, R & B, Blue Grass, & Pop, and will run from July 5 through Aug. 21. Students will receive 25 to 30 hours a week of instruction and performance opportunities. A one-week session is $250 with shorter sessions of two-, three- and six-hour days costing $10 an hour.
