Party Rangers Holiday Skate Night

Kick off the holidays with Party Rangers Holiday Skate Night on Friday, Dec. 2, from 7:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. at the Park City Ice Arena, 600 Gillmor Way at Quinns Junction. The party is open to ages 14 to 21. An entry fee of $5 includes skate rental, photos with Santa and hot chocolate. Donut sales and $1 from each entry fee will go to support Hope Alliance’s Haitian Orphanage to bring them a better Christmas this year. For more information, visit

Silly Market to Host Holiday Bazaar

The Silly Holiday Bazaar – How Bizarre? will be held Saturday, Dec. 3, until Sunday, Dec. 4, at the Park City High School gyms, 1750 Kearns Blvd., from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. The bazaar will feature live acoustic music, pictures with Silly Santa and vendors selling jewelry, clothing, foods, and accessories. Self-guided Tours at the Swaner Eco Center

Swaner’s self-guided interpretive nature trail will be accessible Thursdays and Fridays from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., with extended hours during the holidays. Admission to this trail is free. Snowshoe rentals are available at the Swaner EcoCenter, $10 for non-members and $5 for members. "Race to Nowhere" Film Screening

A special screening of Vicki Abeles’ "Race to Nowhere" will be held in the Jim Santy Auditorium of the Park City Library and Education Center, 1255 Park Ave., on Thursday, Dec. 1. Audubon Christmas Bird Count

Local birders and nature enthusiasts are invited to participate in the 112th annual Audubon Christmas Bird Count Saturday, Dec. 17, at 8 a.m at the Wasatch Mountain State Park Visitor Center in Heber. Beginner, intermediate, and expert birders are welcome to participate. Cost is $5 per person and free for ages 18 and younger.
