Tanger Outlet Job Fair at The Christian Center
The Christian Center, 1283 Deer Valley Dr., will hold a job fair for Tanger Outlets on Wednesday, Nov. 7, from 2 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. Hiring representatives from more than 20 of the Tanger Outlet Retail Stores will answer questions about their open jobs and benefits. Sip, Shop & Socialize at the Temple Har Shalom
Temple Har Sharlom, 3700 N. Brookside Ct., will host Sip, Shop & Socialize, a community-wide event on Thursday, Nov. 8, from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. Sip, Shop & Socialize will feature more than 40 talented artisans and vendors. There will be clothing, original home décor, jewelry, hair accessories, cool art and knitted headwear, handmade original toys, stationery, eco-friendly goods and much more. Food will be served by Savoury Kitchen and drinks by Top Shelf. The event is open to the public and a $10, tax-deductible, admission includes an opportunity drawing ticket to win door prizes. The first 250 women to arrive at the event will receive a reusable shopping bag.
Veteran’s Day Assembly at Treasure Mountain Junior High
Treasure Mountain Junior High School will present it’s fourth Veteran’s Day Assembly, lead by Tiana Aplanalp, at the Eccles Center for the Performing Arts, 1750 Kearns Blvd., on Friday, Nov. 9, from 1:15 p.m. until 2:25 p.m. The speaker will be Maj. Shane J. Andrews, whose family lived on various Air Force bases around the world. Andrews is currently stationed at Fort Corson in Colorado Springs, Colo. In addition to the speech, the Patriotism Award will be given to students who participated in an essay contest about "What Sacrifices Have Been and Are Currently Being Made Military Families?"
Park City Newcomers Coffee
The Park City Newcomers Club will host its monthly coffee meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 14, at Park City Community Church, 4501 N. S.R. 224, from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Connie Nelson, executive vice president of the Alf Engen Ski Museum at the Utah Olympic Park, will speak about park.
