Dancing audtions

Dance Tech Studios will be holding open auditions for its award winning Dance Company Sept. 14-16. Auditions are for ages 7-18 and are open for all levels. There will be spaces for hip-hop, jazz and lyrical dance. For more information, call 655-9213.

Arts-Kids volunteers

Arts-Kids, a youth development, after-school program in all Park City/Summit County elementary and middle schools is currently looking for volunteers for their fall 2006 groups for Mondays through Thursdays. Interested volunteers must bring to the program commitment, passion and enjoy being with kids. A compensatory training will be held at the Miners Hospital on the Main Floor either on Monday, Sept. 18 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., or Wednesday, Sept. 20 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The fall session will begin Sept. 25 through Dec. 14. Time commitment is at least one day a week Monday through Thursday for three hours after school. For more information call Pat at 435-615-7878 or email pat@arts-kids.org. The Newcombers Luncheon

The 11th Newcombers Membership Luncheon will be held today at noon at the Empire Lodge at Deer Valley. All new members are invited to attend. For more information, call 615-6636.

The Julie Nester Gallery will display new paintings by Gerard Bergeois through Sept. 29. Julie Nester Gallery was named "Best Art Gallery in Utah" in 2005 by Salt Lake Magazine.
